A series of photographs showing a male Field Digger Wasp (Argogorytes mystaceus) attempting to mate with Fly Orchid (Ophrys insectifera). The male is seen was first observed on one flower, before being disturbed. It then flew off and settled near by, before returning back to the Fly Orchid to have a second attempt at mating.
